I'm with you on that one, Andrea . I certainly know I don't feel my age (it still feels very 'grown up' embarking on building a house and I have to pinch myself sometimes! []) and surely that's more what matters.

Ageed and having just had my almost waist lengh hair chopped off I am now clearly showing a wonderful silver colour right thru my hair - and I earned every one of those silver hairs[^]. A couple of people have asked why didnt I get my hair coloured when I got it chopped...Bloody cheek!

I am vain, but I don't mind revelaing my age as since moving here people think I am at least ten years younger than I am (you don't get so many wrinkles in the UK due to lack of sun
I like to think I look my age (43). Got a few silver hairs coming on, but then both parents didn't go completely grey till their late 60s (and neither did their parents!). got some good genes and some bad genes, but things seem to balance out in the end. Looks like my age grouping (as Kiwi listed them) is the tops in this poll!
Ah well Isla, I haven't got a hope in hell in that case.[^]
Andrea, I've never understood why women have such a hang up about their age either. You are what you are and nothing is going to change it. I'm 56, probably look as though I'm in my 60's and couldn't give a damn. What I look like isn't what I am like.
The age grouping doesn't really come as any surprise. This is the group where children have grown up and gone (or nearly so) and people are more financially able to look at other options and be able to pay for them.
