bloody daylight savings

The computer, TV and clocks on the wall are all screwed up and different at the moment. The 2007/2008 change to daylight savings from 3rd sunday march has struck in the computers, yet the new dates are actually 1st sunday april... so we're an hour late for church as we typically rely on the computer clock since it never has the battery run down. But MS wasn't told of the change of dates and it was telling us we had an hour yet to go :(

I've just reset it now, but that means come april I'll have to manually reset it again >:(

No, that's not correct Kiwi.

MS released a patch last August which dealt with this issue. It looks like you didn't manage to get it :(

All of the 5 PCs here running XP are showing the correct time.

My Collins farming diary showed today as the change over so I rushed around changing the clocks in the house as Mrs Kalnetta had to get up early for the duathalon. Then suddenly had a Senior thought why have I not seen anything in the papers or on the news. Rang the Daughter and yes the diary was wrong.
Bugger had to reset the clocks again just as well We would have been woken up at 4.30 am.

Hey guys, Digby is right. It ends the 6th of April and there is no point blaming the Calendar Publishers (or anyone else) as after years of a set date, the Govt voted not so long ago to extend daylight savings to 27 weeks. Thus the mix up for all concerned. Can't believe it is nearly over! I need grass before then!!!!!

Well... dunno Mike, I just do what the newsreaders tell us to before they sign off at the end of the news come the day :P but the computers both said 10am (one hasn't been online since july last yr so no updates in aug), half an hour is plenty of time to reach church, but glancing at the bedside alarm clock while grabbing the keys said 11am, so did mums alarm clock when I checked that, so church had been running half an hour by then... which to believe?

The computers matched the clocks a few days ago and the clocks hadn't been changed, which left the computers changing.
