I take back half of my holiday moaning!

Cos I've just got a phone call from my brother ( the one who's just had a baby!) and well they are getting married!!

Haven't stopped blubbing yet![]

Now I know why he wanted to know what we were up to!

No plans yet what they want to do, but he wants to do something different.

So now we have a Christening (cousins baby) and a wedding to go to!

As BD said we don't need a funeral though![]

That is great news MM, congratulations!

I do think though initially you had very good cause to feel stressed and stretched about it all, if only he could have told you up front and it would have made it easier on everyone.

Nevermind, all sorted now and that is the main thing.

What are you taking/buying for a wedding pressie? (nosy eh?)

Swaggie in all fairness at that time it wasn't even clear in their minds! They hd been joking about it on the 29th Feb(leap year) and then it's just gone from there, he asked her properly on Friday night!
The spooky thing about it all is that for no apparent reason whilst driving to Kumeu Saturday morning I thought that it would be nice if they got married whilst we were there in July!

Kate, not sure what he means by different, some thoughts we talked about were to see if the Eden project didi weddings, or a day at an adventure park, or I said go Kiwi and get married on the beach! Whatever they decide it will be pretty informal. We're not a religious lot so shan't be doing the church thing!

BB, yeah I think we will, a month probably won't be long enough! Well it will be but ya know what I mean!

MM, you aint meant to go on the honeymoon with him ya know[:0][}].. so the wedding will just be one afternoon, and the rest of the time you can catch up on your old watering holes

Don't think they can afford a honeymoon beedee, thats why they are thinking of a family get together. They've just had a baby too, plus my brother has a 12 year old son from a previous relationship, so I reckon that what you would be doing on your honeymoon has already been covered!

MM that's great. Not least because you'll see all the rellies at one time and then you are free to do your own thing - except I bet you love that baby to bits and just have to be around often for lots of cuddles!

That's great they can invite ALL your whanau and they can see you at the wedding. Tell them to "bring a plate" tee hee
You can go out and buy a new outfit, I'll come shopping with you, we'll have it sorted in 10 mins!

Oh MM how exciting. Great stuff. Maybe suggest a nice wedding at a winery......yeah that would be grand lol

digby, yeah told them to go Kiwi and get married on the beach! If I said bring a plate they'd want to know if they should bring cutlery too!
