Did alright, I was happy! I got 3rd place with Ambers daughter in the doe kid class, so pretty happy.
Had 2 in that class but the other doe has too many teats so no good with her.
Only had one more goat entered, doe 12-24mths class, but no good there she didn't have enough condition on here.
We did have buck kids entered bu they couldn't come on account dey was in da freezer![xx(] So weren't looking their best![]

We didn't take Beau, we couldn't be bothered to go chasing him through the paddock, we'd already done that with Ambers daughter around the garden at 7.30 in the morning! The poor Japanese homestay student was probably wondering what the heck we were up to, I think he may have learned a few new words too, Kiwi ones obviously as us English don't use such language!:rolleyes:

We saw Yakut and Kim, Yakut was waving ribbons at me so I'll let her tell you what she got. Also saw Pumpkingirl and met DiDi and her little dawg! and saw Emma from across the ring.

We had a wander around the show and watched the sheep shearer fella, seen him before at the shows, but never had chance to watch it all, he was very funny and the kids loved him and there were plenty of innuendos thrown on for the adults, things like Aussies and sheep and...well you get my drift![]

On the way home we stopped at Pokeno for ice cream, Mini-D was going to for a 7 scoop but by this time he was getting a bit of sinus trouble and only managed 4 scoops.....the light weight!:cool:

Thanks. Yes he came with us, and he said he had a good time, very interesting he said, but the poor bugger looked bored stiff!

It was such a good day although I have to confess I was feeling pretty harrassed at the end of it, but managed to prove to MM and BD (and MD and the homestay student) that i can pronounce proper english words.
