Welcome to life styling. I’m 4.5 years into it and would never go back! I’m a bit of an intermittent ‘poster’ on here but have had some really helpful advice from other forum users. Whereabouts are you, how much land, what are you using it for etc?

Greetings We are finally living our dream YAY and we are complete new when it comes to farming at least here in NZ. I am so glad that others find this forum and this group so helpful, I imagine a lots of reading and doing ahead of us so just wanted to share our excitement here and say Hi! Our 1.5 ha of flat land previously used for grazing (sheep) so nothing on it is at the outskirts of Carterton Wairarapa

Hi Odell, thanks for the warm welcome.
Am out past Waiuku ways, am on a 2acre block - have a few sheep and dirt bike track for the kids. Great place to raise a family! How about yourself?

Hey Max,

Appreciate the warm welcome and thanks for introducing the forum. I do tend to be shy in asking questions, so its good to know folk who are open to that.

Cheers
B.

I’m in Marlborough, on 5 acres. Was bare land when we bought so have built modest home. Have 4 steers, 12 chooks, dog. Have had pigs. Big orchard and vege garden. Pretty close to self sustainable for food.
