Hi from Southland

Hi everyone, my names Laura. I've been reading these forums for a while now but thought it was finally time to come out and join in. We moved from Invercargill to our 10 acre lifestyle block in Hedgehope last December. So very new to all things farm life! I currently have 16 ewes, 13 are Hokonuis and have 10 little lambs bouncing around the paddock. I'm looking forward to learning things from you all

Welcome to LSB Keirae. There’s a few of us on here from Southland. I was new to the whole farming thing when we moved to our block 6 years ago. This site has been priceless when it comes to advice for those questions that no one ever knows the answers to otherwise. As for your other post, looking for lambs, maybe there will be more as the bigger farms start lambing? Hopefully someone will have some for you soon. Our ewes start in a couple of weeks.
