Hobby farmsitters available - South Island

Hello,

Peter and I are a Kiwi/Canadian couple. We are recently retired hobby farmers of dairy sheep & kunekune, in Canada. (Yes, we raised the first kunekunes in Canada - they are now a thriving breed here). We plan to escape the canadian winter every year and travel to the South Island during the NZ summer. When traveling, we'd much prefer to be on a farm, than doing city things.

We can pretty much turn our hand to caring for any animal, and house/farm system. We built our own offgrid home, and have direct experience caring for sheep, kunekunes, chickens, bees, dogs, cats and various strange animals that our kids would bring home. We also have experience looking after organic gardens.

We are happy to care for your hobby farm animals and gardens as if they were our own. In return, we ask for a pleasant place to stay. A houseswap is a possibility (we live on an island off the west coast of Canada). We will have a vehicle.
