Hi all

As of today, Meg and I have settled on a 1.5-acre block of land in Whangarei Heads. It has had nothing on the land for 12 years and is overgrown with Kikuyu grass. Currently, there are a couple self-sown trees, but apart from that, we have a clean canvas to start to work with. I am looking forward to learning lots from this forum.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

What are the trees? What's the slope on the land, if any?

Thanks Ruth

The top of the plot is 40 metres above sea level and the bottom in 20 metres, so I have a bit of a slope, will not really get a good feel until a contractors come in and run his slasher over the property. The trees are self-sown pine.

Thanks

Oh. Pine, what a pity. Xmas tree, sapling or useful shade size?

Which way do you face?
