Saw the new member introduction bit and thought I should write something.
Just bought our first LSB at the start of this year, 13 acres of paradise just out of Invercargill, mob of ewes, 4 calves and the intention to rear some calves this spring.
Got a rough idea of what I'm up to but like anyone, I'd never turn down advice if it was being offered.
I see there is quite a lot of good information on here, very good resource.
Welcome F Dagg. It's a wonderful corner of the world, but Shhhh, we won't tell anyone. If you have a rough idea, you are miles ahead of where I was when we bought our block which is somewhere near you (also just outside of invercargill). Wouldn't have survived, or at least wouldn't have had as much pleasure without the wonderful help here. It's a great place to find answers.
