I farm 9 acres in the Rangitkei along with my husband and daughter. We have 4 children in all, with two still at home. I milk dairy goats, breed sheep for spinning wool and meat, have cattle & ducks for meat as well. Also have chickens for eggs, cats and dogs. I'm currently turning a 2500sqm paddock into a garden/orchard/woodlot.
Hi Kate. I only milk enough for the house- so that's one goat at the moment. I should have kidding this season and I'll probably break in a few more with a view to selling them on.
