Coming to Southland

Hi folks, I'm new on here and have joined as we have bought a property in Western Southland. It's 13 acres with a house and some sheds, good grazing, flat and sloping. My partner and I are chefs and are going in clueless from an agricultural point of view. We get the keys in mid January. Hope that you can help us out along the way. Thanks for having us on here.

Southland is lovely, I have only recently become acquainted with some of it since the husband's family moved down that way.

Ask away, if a question needs answering it is never too insignificant or silly. Remember to be forgiving of yourself (and your partner!) as you embark on this new challenge - it is inevitable that you will have to learn some things by first getting them wrong.

Sheds are very good, there will be no end to the bits and bobs that get stored away "for later." :whistle:
