Hi everyone ,
New to lsb and found this place more useful and interesting. I amn't a farmer but a home maker with a lovely backyard n chickens. interested in gardening n cooking and grow my own veggies for my kitchen. Me n my husband with my 2 lovely lil girls make up my family. our flock is a heritage breed flock( 6 orpingtons,slw,australorp n few hylines ).nice to meet you all.

Welcome Jedi...we have lots of chicken and gardening people on the site ....and the seed boxes that travel around have a good selection of seeds....often something a bit different.

How's it all going? What's happening in your backyard?

I'm a bit slow. I've planted my greenhouse up but the outdoor veg garden needs a bit of work. I locked my chooks in there over a few days & the cleaned it up good for me

you as well.my backyard garden is set up with some beets, carrots , brassicas and lettuces:-)
Only thing worrying me now .....saw a mouse running along my backyard fence....hope my garden and chickens to be safe.

Do not worry. If your chickens are anything like mine they will enjoy hunting and eating the mice.
