Hi all,
We are a young family, my partner and I and our two boys. We just bought a bit of land in Gisborne, with the aim to self reliance (as much as possible!)... we purchased a couple of dairy cows (swiss brown x jersey) and some Arapawa sheep, there were already some wild goats on the property... We are learning about animal husbandry as we go and hoping to develop the land, plant a whole lot of naive bush as well as a food forest.
I look forward to sharing ideas and advice on this forum!
