Hello everybody, warm greetings from Sydney!
I'm looking for a pair or fertilised eggs of North Holland Blue (I grew up with them in Europe and love them), but unfortunately I can't find anyone in Australia who can help me.
I saw that some people in New Zealand have them, but I also wonder if I can import them to Aus.
Thank you all and have a great Merry Christmas!!!

Welcome to the LSB.
As far as getting eggs from NZ to Australia, you would have to find out what you can and cannot do in regards to the laws that govern such things in your country. While NZ doesn't have some of the poultry diseases that other countries have, I know our borders are closed but don't know about yours.
Do you have the equivilent of our Department of Conservation? If so, maybe a good place to start. There are Ex Pat Australians who are members here, who may have better information.

Did you know, that what you thought I said, was not what I meant :S

You will need to look under the Department of Agriculture biosecurity rule for importation which you will find here,
apps.daff.gov.au/icon32/asp/ex_QueryResu...ses&QueryType=Search
apps.daff.gov.au/icon32/asp/ex_caseconte...rch=1&LogSessionID=0

I think you will find compliance costs fairly prohibitive!
Cost of the quarantine station for 12 weeks, $44,000 or $525 per day!
