just finding my way around lsb, seems it will be a useful tool for us.... 1.6ha and a house to do up, all keeping us busy now in our new adventure (aka retirement!). House first then hope to plant a large area of natives and organise the paddock for chickens or ducks, bees?... maybe kune kunes and perhaps a goat or two to keep the grass down. Fruit trees and veggies too - should keep us out of mischief :)

Welcome to the club. Careful about the fruit trees, as many of us have found, they tend to keep multiplying.

hi - sorry for delay in replying: now that I've signed up really should remember to check in regularly! We are in Nuhaka - keep hearing we have a nice wee micro-climate though we've pretty much had rain, rain and more rain since we got here. Brightening up now though. Thanks for tip re trees - we're a while away from planting yet but excited to see how we get on over the next few months.
