Hi,

We have a small block in Oruru/Taipa. We are in the process of making up for 10 years of no maintenance and turning much of it in to a big garden.

I think I will need to check in on the forum regularly, looking some of the threads.

Thanks everyone.

Actually, it is more a coming home for me. I grew up in the area and even went to school at Taipa and Kaitaia College after that in the 70's.

A meet up would be great.

Did you indeed?! Taipa District High School days or later when it was Area School? I went right through from primers with Mrs Trott to fifth form, then on to Kaitaia for the last couple of years. Presumably we'll therefore at least recognise each other's names. [;)]

As an Area School, under Brian Armstrong. I did the same thing at Kaitaia.
