Advice before purchase, please

We've had long term grazers here and they are both good blokes who look after their horses. We keep an eye on things, but call them if something goes wrong with a horse. The horses help to pay the rates. We also have 15 acres, and I'd advise that you never have more than six horses on that amount of land. Yes they do damage paddocks, but we have them pretty much under control now, and couldn't cover rates with just beef cattle. We have six beefies, and could carry 8. We close up about 5 1/2 acres for hay each year so if there is surplus we have some to sell. If you feel it's the right place for you, then go ahead and buy, It won't take long to adjust to the lifestyle, and the kids will be better for it.
