Intentions are at the moment:
-Get the house liveable and up to scratch, already replaced the fusebox, but a huge list of "to do's"
-Establish an "old school" type garden, lots of berries and fruits
-Refence the majority of the property, there are fences with no posts, wire everywhere and gates held up with bindertwine, rusted off hinges, there are 9 gates and only 1 of them will close with a good lift!!!!!
-Harvest all the rainwater for use in the garden (about 20% is used at the moment)
-Cleanout and populate the chook house
-Already got most of the "toys" (mower, chainsaws, weed eaters, rotary hoe) but looking for a mulcher and spa pool.
-Intend to get some sheep, a couple of beefies and a pig
-Both of us working full time for the next few years, but then it's retirement time, so we're probably what you call part time LSBer's.
Fairly computer savvy, we'll reply if questioned and may ask the odd question or 7 ourselves.
Cheers for now

I was saying the same up to my last visit there a month or so back...and saw the mountain several times! So it's not been mined and taken away overseas, which is what I reckoned, not having seen it for so many years [}

Lol know how you feel Reggit went there several times and it was always covered in cloud and rain, even biked the Round the Mountain and never saw it.......then remember waking up one cold clear winter morning ..looking out the window of the hotel and there it was ....could have reached out and touched it it seemed so close.
Amazing on a good day

To all you fabulous people out there, thanks for the replies, and the myth about the mountain being the great indicator of rain ---- TRUE, can't see the mountain today and it's peeing down, 40mls in the last hour alone!!!!!
The other myth about the mountain hiding all the time
FALSE, the mountain view is spectacular from here when it does appear, doesn't appear to be wanting to change in the near future!!
