Hi All

Just a quick note to say Hi.

Moved onto 12 acres at Sefton (North of Christchurch) 6 weeks ago.

Loving it so far but lots to do. Lifestyle or Life Sentence......yet to be determined []. Grew up on a farm so have a rough idea of what I am in for....

So far we have 20 sheep & hoggets, 2 horses and a cat. If SHMBO has her way it will soon become Old McDonlads Farm. Although I am doing what I can to curb her enthusiasm in the short term!

Lots of fun, challenges and good times ahead.

Welcome, Sefton Ranch from south of you in Oxford. Sefton, Balcairn, Leithfield.... all really nice areas. Unless you're living next to the railway line. I think if we had discovered that area before we discovered the Oxford area, we may have ended up there instead.

There are worse ways to spend a Life Sentence!

Thanks Andrea, we certainly think it is a nice spot and we are far enough away from the railway line that you can hear the odd train but it is faint rumble in the distance.

Definitely agree re the Life Sentence, plus its nothing a chainsaw and ride on mower can't fix
