Welcome, it's a friendly and helpful site - or rather the people on it are friendly and helpful. How much land do you have and what are you planning to do with it?

Definitely. I have some really crazy ideas that some people consider are verging on stupidity if not actually stupid. One that has brought lots of comments trying to alter my opinion is that cattle, sheep, goats and equines should give birth standing, and if they have to lie down to help things along then that is a danger warning. I will expand on this idea if you wish :)

Many humans find that giving birth standing up is so much better too !!!

Do NOT cross this paddock! ... Unless you can do it in 9 seconds, 'cos the bull can do it in 10!

Now that really is daft. Why on Earth would a human female want to drop her baby onto its back? Every woman has a helper to smack the baby on it's bottom to get it's heart and lungs working properly, doesn't she??? :)

Luckily, most humans don't give birth alone in a corner of a paddock. There will be someone there to catch the baby!
