Hi Everyone

My partner Alexis and I own a 3.5 acre block in Pokeno, we're relatively new to farming and enjoying every minute of it. We opted for the lifestyle change four months ago now and it keeps getting better and better (albeit hard work most of the time). We share our piece of paradise with our two German Shepherd Dogs, wee black cat, two Angus calves and four Arapawa sheep - three ewes and one ram (two of our girls are with lamb), we also have a few chooks.

This site seems really good for help & advice and to learn from others experiences, we will probably use it well.

Cheers
Craig

There's some impressive development being done in Pokeno, so you might yet get a supermarket that will cut down any travel time to places like Pukekohe. Nice parcels of land around there too with volcanic soils so it's nice and fertile.
Welcome to the LSB.

Did you know, that what you thought I said, was not what I meant :S
