Conditional Purchase

Hi everybody, I saw this website mentioned in the weekend supplement of the Waikato Times and thought it looked a bit of me.
My husband and I have our house in Hamilton on the market, and have purchased with the condition of selling our house a 2 acre block and house near Thames.
We plan to do a Farmstay type B & B, and be semi self sufficient, so want a few small friendly hand reared animals.
Lots of hard work to be done, but fingers crossed it will all happen to plan.

Ex Parawai and Thames High School old-boy here. You won't be able to have many pets on 2 acres, because all animals should be in pairs. Also, not many species like interacting with other species. So the goats tend to dominate everything, the donkeys and horses play equine games which tend to be a bit rough for the sheep, cattle and alpacas, and the elephants hate the mice , and bison are very rough to handle.

It was a really great story in the weekender for the Waikato Times, also a story about Dexters, and gotland sheep, that belong to friends of ours.
