The adventure begins

Hello.

I am in the early stages of creating a rural lifestyle for myself with the help of my two children in the North Canterbury area.

I have yet to purchase a property so I guess I am still in the research and planning stage. Hope that wont go on for too long.
So I am looking for any bits of information and advice that may be useful.

Hi Fortyplus.

We're in South Canterbury, bought the first block 4 years ago and then two years later added the second when a neighbour sold up. We love the lifestyle, the only drag is that I have to work full time.

My main tip - don't be afraid to ask questions. We all started out at sometime and remember our first attempts to get things right.
