I am new here, own a lifestyle block of 1Ha in Awhitu Peninsula.
Used to be a member of (now defunct) Small Farmers Association about 20 years ago.

mmmm... started with dwarf beans, switched to garlic (15 yrs ago), burnt the finger, switched to courgettes, did pretty well.
Got tired and grew older... put in grass, watched the grass grow,got few lambs to keep grass down, 1/2 acre in pine... sort of trying to grow blue gum for fire wood, planted 2 years ago.
