newbies...living the dream

first off merry xmas and happy new year to all

we where city folk and now have a small block (25 acres) down Oamaru way...over grown and run down when we got here last winter (first summer here)...long story short after many man hrs and 2 hernia's we cleaned it up and now have stock :rolleyes:...2 nubian goats...a doe and a buck and both only 4 mths old...9 sheep...4 ewes and 5 rams...why so many rams we have no idea as they were here when we arrived ...and 2 little calfs that we got last week.
plans for the place we arent sure of yet...got the goats as i like the idea of milk and perhaps try my hand at cheese making but who knows...which is why we are here...to read and learn from others.
