Hi.
We are recent new lifestyle-blockers. We purchased our 20 acres in Oxford last Christmas. I'm a city girl so its all new to me (I'm more of the 'gucci' part of my username and growing into the 'gumboot' side). Thats a polite way of saying i'm practically useless but open to learning We have cows, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens. We have planted an orchard and are in the process of putting in a vege garden. Things I've learnt so far are that it's pretty cool to be outside of your comfort zone; that pigs are only nice when in the form of bacon; that hard work is hard; and that all animals lose all manners when you enter their paddock carrying anything edible.
I'm looking forward to learning heaps on here!
