Wairarapa New Resident

Hi there from the Wairarapa - I'm a new resident to NZ and I'm trying to find out a bit more about the general customs, rules and activities for the country and immediate area. I've ended up on the LSB forum repeatedly for various Google searches, so thought it worthwhile signing up so I can have a little more interaction.

Hi Dan,

welcome to the Wairarapa.

Basic customs and rules for the country are courtesy and keeping your animals under control at all times, especially dogs. As you have probably seen in the "Your Place" forum roaming dogs can cause much damage and heartache and can be dealt with firmly.

Reading through the forums will give you a good idea of the variety of views on different situations that can arise. If you have any specific questions just ask on the Your Place forum and as one of the other tag line reads "there are no stupid questions"
