Back into it in Manawatu after 12 years was created by John M
Hi all,

Just bought my first lifestyle block. I grew up on 17 acres in Hastings, spent 10 years raising snakes and scrub turkeys on 4.5 acres in north Queensland and been a city dwelling for the past 12 years.

Finally taken possession of our own place to raise our three girls.

Looking forward to some pointers regarding stock agents to use or steer clear of, places to source bobby calves, animal health and the likes.

Hi ya John :)
welcome to the LSB cyber family :)
There are quite a few of us Manawatu people on here :)
I am in Feilding , well my animals are at Awahuri :)
:) yell if you need a hand with anything eh :)
5 retired Greyhounds ( Bridgette , Lilly, GoGo,Sam and now Lenny) 15 friendly sheep all of whom are named and come when you call them :) , 2 goats, Mollie and Eee Bee :
Olive trees , .. old bugger doing the best he can with no money or land :)

Hi John - I'm a townie in Terrace End, welcome back to Manawatu, a great place to live and bring up a family, from an ex Brit/Aucklander married to a Palmerstonian.
Husband, two teenagers, Stanley & Jed the greyhounds, one quail (Hawkefrost), one budgie (Chaos) small productive surburban section.
