Hi
Im Steve
Have a 2.2 ha block that we are loking at building on and having a few different animals.
Interested to see how everyone else copes with the trials of working and looking after a block

Welcome Steve! Since we're about to start winter, go slow with the acquisition of animals till you know what your land can do.
I am a SAHM, otherwise known as the dogsbody! Before ill-health and injury took hold a few years ago, we were going at a much better clip at getting the place fixed up, cleaned up, organised and personalised. But I have to work very slowly now and sometimes not at all, which means most big jobs are relegated to weekends and holidays, which tends to frustrate me to no end. Expect that for every one chore/job you tick off your to-do list, you will replace it with 2, 3 or 4 more things to do. Just the way of it, and even more so when animals depend on you. Not meaning to be a downer at all, I wouldn't trade this life for anything, it's very rewarding.
