I have a number of fruit plants im trying to grow. Dont know if they will do well or not?

Kaffir Lime
Rasberry
Orangeberry
Gooseberry
Strawberries
Japanese Raisin Tree
Lucuma
Inga Bean
Tamarillos

Non fruiting plants
Succulents
Hoyas
Poinsettia
Anthrium

I was wondering if my less cold hardy plants will survive outside in a cold frame overwinter because there is to many to have inside.

Tamarillos are very frost tender, so unless you have your plant in a pot that you can move it indoors over winter, you will lose it. I don't know about the others

Did you know, that what you thought I said, was not what I meant :S

Hi Nat, you have me curious as to the cyclone part of your name... we are on cyclone watch at the moment!
we have just had Cyclone Jasmine (category 4) rip down the stretch of ocean between east coast of New Caledonia and the islands of Vanuatu. The outer edge's gale force wind zone touching both countries. It is still a cat 4 but heading for open ocean and should slow down. It left the QLD coast a few days ago getting stronger as it travelled east south east. Temperamental and destructive things they are!

I trust you are nothing like that...!! hihi. any way, welcome to the site.

I'd be interested in hearing how your Inga bean goes so far south. We have a couple Inga babies for our block in the far north.

Hey that's cool... not too many can say they were born in a cyclone... lol

The Inga Bean trees are only about 15 to 20cm tall and I didnt think to take portrait photos of them. Next time! Rather sweet little trees though.
