Hi there

This is the first time I have actually managed to get time to register on this very useful and informative site.

My partner Kellie and I have recently purchased a 25 Acre lifestyle property in Tikokino. We have been busy raising 8 bobby calves and some orphan lambs and now all are weaned its time to start learning other things which Im sure all you guys & girls on here can help us with.

To date we have 8 bobby calves, a calve and mother, 3 ewes and a ram. 3 Dogs, 1 cat, 1 cockateel, 1 domestic rat (lots of ferrel ones) and half a dozen chooks. I am from the UK and my partner a Kiwi. In the UK I used to have a large allotment so have some knowledge of pig and chook keeping and growing veggies but now were onto the bigger animals, its all learning again.

So just wanted to say hi and hope to talk to you all at some point in time on here.

Cheers

Bob :)

Welcome to NZ the LSB. If you are having this rain, rain, rain, then can I cheekily say "It's like a typical English Summer's day" so you should feel right at home :) That's an expression my English grandfather was fond of.
Sounds like you chose a great spot to settle.

Did you know, that what you thought I said, was not what I meant :S
