Hi i live in Pretoria South Africa, i am married and have 2 kids a boy and girl. We live on an 8.5 ha land, we keep sheep and horses. As a family we love animals and keep dogs, geese, chickens and pigeons aswell.

I imagine you have a few different challenges to us with your climate and fauna but some things are the same world over.
What type of sheep do you have? I have seen a little bit about a SA meat sheep breed that is very hardy, but can't remember its name...

Funniest thing- we were over your way a few months back. Did some game parks in Botswana and then visited friends in Pretoria before doing Kruger and heading home.

Very different to NZ the countryside. I gets very dry it seems in summer and I saw where grass fires had run through near highways.
