Our alpaca had her cria on Saturday. It didn't look like she was feeding so we managed to give it collostrum through a bottle on Sunday. Yesterday the mother wouldn't let us anywhere near her cria and spat at us and looked like she would charge us so we let them be.
Can't see a milk moustache or that it's been using it's bowels. Should we separate them and ensure it gets fed or let the mum and cria work through nature and hope she's expressing milk?
