Hi everyone. Emigrating from Ireland in June/ July 2011 with wife and 3 kids (14-18).

We are looking to rent a rural property in the Wikato, pref Matamata Morrinsville area for approx 6 months. Anyone any suggestion as what estate agents would be useful?

We are then hoping to buy a lifestyle block of 10-25 acres.

We are starting a business specialising in cattle hoof trimming, freeze branding, debuding etc (25 years experience in Ireland). We also supply training, supplies and equipment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Brian and Elaine (and kids!) :)

That's me....10 lovely acres and a 3-bedroom house in paradise in Te Miro. We're not renting it out at the moment but if you're interested in a rental in that area let me know. You can see the property here

Whereabouts in Ireland are you?

highly reccomend Mike Fraser-Jones of Baleys real estate.
Being a local to those areas, i can also highly reccomend who to stay away from, but will have to PM me for the names.
My sister is an retired RE agent, unfortunately she didnt deal with rural properties, but was with Harcourts, so i better reccomend them too

Welcome to the site cowdoc. You can look at properties to rent and for sale on TradeMe:

www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-me-property/index.htm

and this site is also good as it has all the listings from the various agencies (I think!)

www.realestate.co.nz/

Tomorrow is the day I will stop procrastinating.
