Hi from a Taupo retiree. Feel a bit of a fraud as we don't have a lifestyle block but my daughter and s.i.l have just bought one at Reikorangi near Waikanae. Given as they're city dwellers I think we'll be called on regularly to help out with the place and I'm looking forward to that. I was brought up on a Taihape hill country farm so not totally unfamiliar with rural ways although have recently retired from a non-farming career. Our main interests now are motorhoming, gardening, fishing, hunting, tramping and volunteer conservation work. Hope to get much information from this forum. Cheers
