Hi, have just found this forum and thought it looked like a good one to join!

Currently living in Reporoa (halfway between Rotorua and Taupo) on a dairy farm, hubby and I are contract milkers and have been for the past four years. We are milking 330 cows through a 28 aside herringbone with automatic cup removers (a godsend!)

We have 2 kids aged 8 and 2, and abslolutely love the farming life! :)

Welcome to the forum udder1. I can remember when 300 was a huge herd. In my childhood my dad sharemilked and employed a boy to help him on 125 cows. It was a huge technological leap for us when we built a herringbone shed (10 a side) and went up to 150 cows.
