Hi everyone, from Lighthill. Five years ago I had to replace my dear old ewes who passed on at the age of 15 and I decided on coloured sheep, with the idea of breeding for wool. All my sheep are Romney/Corriedale. I now have two black & silvers and the others are a range of shades of Moorit.

With a science background and a long-term interest in natural therapies, I'm keen on using organics where possible. I'm currently dealing with the challenge of keeping all the ewes and this year's lambs well-fed and happy. The girls didn't listen to my instruction to have one lamb apiece and most produced twins, after the wettest winter I've ever seen. There're all doing well but I'm looking forward to asking sheep questions and participating on Lifestyle Block. I've found a lot of valuable information on it over the years.

Hi Lighthill and welcome to lsb :D

Thanks for introducing yourself. I love coloured sheep and yet again a coloured sheep photo has made it into the lsb calendar :D :D

Cheers
