Just a brief hello and introduction.
I have been reading the magazine for the last 4 years but have only just decided to go electronic today.
My partner and I have 65 acres of steep scrub covered hillside on the edge of banks peninsula overlooking Lake Ellesmere (if you climb to the top of the hill).
Our goal is to assist the land in native regeneration (a couple of thousand trees planted so far) and build mountainbike tracks as that is my partners main passion.
We are 4 years into a 20 year project to achieve this and are already starting to see great progress in both areas.
We also own 18 chooks and 4 cats.
We are both townies born and bred, with little in the way of practical skills although I'm pretty handy with a grubber and spade now.
We envisage many interesting "challenges" in the years to come.
Cheers
Lisa
