I am based in Masterton and would like to plant a 50 sq meter area with horseradish. Where can I buy the root stock please?

Welcome.
I think that we still have a few roots around, but they were very thin and spindly so far too much effort to be bothered with. With 50 sq meters you will be able to go into commercial production. Our 6 plants planted into tile drainpipes were enough for us to get over the desire quickly.
I've found that MCPA slows them down when they escape.

There is an organic herb farm in Upper Hutt that might be able to sell you some.
