A long time ago I registered on this forum but never got around to participating much and, as these things go, I have forgotten my original login and password .. simplest thing to do is to re-register I guess and start again..
Anyway it's time for an update, FWIW I have two properties, one of 5 acres and one of around 200. I have been involved in things technical for many years, and peripherally in what might be called 'lifestyle block related things' for around 25 years or so.
I'm a fairly private type (one block suits this characteristic nicely
but can often be seen helping neighbours in various rural tasks ranging from digging holes through to dealing with local government crap on a wide scale. The latter is definately less fun!
As age creeps up I get grumpier and less tolerant of this Govt interference in rural lifestyles. Actually I'm probably just more grouchy in general but the path to it has certainly been exacerbated by politicians poking their generally ill-informed and rapacious beak into our business. Time for a moat and a Principality perhaps
I was prompted to (re)register in order to post on a thread that caught my attention. Possibly it'll be some time before I get around to it again, I'm a busy guy, but I'm pleased to see that Kate et al have achieved the following they enjoy, LSB appears to be a very useful resource for those that are involved, or aspire to be, in the rural lifestyle.
Cheers, P.
