Hi
We have been living on our block for four months now near Ngaturi (up the Wangaeuhu Valley) near Wanganui.
Loving it so far.
Cheers
Brian

Gidday near-by neighbours,
I have just joined this interesting little site with the idea of getting some inspiration for our block. The Wanganui district apparently has one of the top four most temperate climates in the world but it has been an incredibly dry start to the year in our area - we had to get water shipped in last week as we ran out. I imagine it has been an exciting few months for you settling in. All the best...[

Water is one thing we have not had to worry about. I have a good roof catchment despite the piddling amount of rain. I was surprised at just how hot it got out here at Ngaturi. We were getting 35oC days during summer. Our back deck got up to 45 one day. Of course, I understand that winter is correspsondingly cold, but looking forward to that as well.
