Just stumbled on this site today, My Wife, her Father and myself have decided to leave the big city and shift to Taupo. We have 12 acres about 15ks from town. I am having the farm next door graze his cattle on our place at the moment, but we will put our own stock on it soon.
I would like to put a few Deer on it and release Pheasants as well.
You can tell I'm a hunter and this is the reason I picked Taupo as I am into Deer hunting and love fishing as well. Not the ones on my place!
look forward to know what grows well here on this pumus soil and cold winters, need all the advice I can get
