Another Pommie family

We have been here 6 years now, having never been to NZ before - we brought a house with 5 acre bush block on the internet - got residency brought our two teenage boys with us and have never looked back, we went on to buy a 35 acre block and built a house on it, wanted a bit more privacy so sold that and now have our dream block 45 acres on a boundary with a 400 acre forest which I can take my GG's into. We are reg breeders of Highland Cattle and my parents have residency now also which is the icing on the cake. My eldest son is getting Married in Feb 2010 to a kiwi, both lads are doing really well in their own concrete cutting and drilling companies - Life could not be better.

You brought a house from the UK? That's an impressive feat I think maybe you 'bought' it. (shame on me for being cheeky!)

Even more adventurous than us. We got residency before we left the UK after a holiday here, saw a house on the internet in the UK, bought it after we got here.
