Quilters - stolen quilters bag

Hi Ladies, i started a new course yesterday (awesome) and one of the other ladies at my table said all of her quilting stuff and working project had been (recently?) stolen from their motor home at Raglan. No doubt with other stuff but how personal is that to someone?

You all will understand what I mean...

Anyhow its more likely to have ended up dumped somewhere once the thieves realised what was in the bag, so I thought i would put it out to our quilters ears if anyone hears of someone finding such a treasure that I know where to find the original owner.

That's just awful - the tools can be replaced but the fabric for the working project may not be able to be replicated. I'd be gutted. Am sending you a PM.

Many thanks Mich, have replied. if us quilters can keep our ears open and spread the world that would be good. Someone must eventually hear of her kit being found, even if it is on the side of a road....

Would it be worth asking the Hamilton Quilters group to keep their eyes out. (Waikato patchworkers and Quilters Quild inc) I also believe that Raglan have a group as well. That would be so sickning to happen, Sorry to hear this terrible news.

I ''think'' the lady comes from Hamilton so perhaps they already know? I will ask her though next month.

Just thought I would put some feelers out there, never know what comes back sometimes.
