Annette Taylor

Annette Taylor - After teaching rats to bar press at Auckland University, Annette moved to a Waikato dairy farm where she milked cows not nearly as often as she should have done. She joined a community paper in the ’80s and has been writing ever since for national newspapers and magazines.  She specialises in agriculture and science stories but will turn her hand to anything, including quirky cooking columns.  She currently edits the NZ Skeptic. She lives in a rammed earth house in a corner of the Waikato countryside which is yet to be swallowed up by Hamilton.

Unflinchingly Annette will seek out agricultural scientists, vets, lawyers, noise control officers and even politicians to answer those befuddling questions that you haven’t the time or inclination to chase.
