Hurrikin SheepThe Hurrikin sheep was developed by in Taranaki. It has been 5 years of trial and error breeding to breed today's Hurrikin which has the pattern of a Friesian cow. The Hurrikin produces coloured wool which gets up to $12.00 per kg. They are also good milkers and produce good prime lambs for meat. They are a great sheep to have in the front paddock of your farm. They have a good temperament and are easy to handle. Hurrikin sheep perhaps offers owners of small farms the opportunity to be on the ground floor of something truly exciting and rewarding.
