Hurrikin Sheep

The Hurrikin sheep was developed by in Taranaki. It has been 5 years of trial and error breeding to breed today's Hurrikin which has the pattern of a Friesian cow. 

The Hurrikin produces coloured wool which gets up to $12.00 per kg. They are also good milkers and produce good prime lambs for meat.

They are a great sheep to have in the front paddock of your farm. They have a good temperament and are easy to handle.

Hurrikin sheep perhaps offers owners of small farms the opportunity to be on the ground floor of something truly exciting and rewarding.

Low labour content and low operating costs, purchasers of Hurrikin sheep have access to marketing of young stock and other services offered by the original breeders. There are under 20 Hurrikin sheep in the world.

Costs for rams & ewe lambs, recips and embryos available from $200 - $700.
